cosmic ordering, typing school & late nights
Every day I have high hopes of writing something really interesting and everyday it gets late and I can't formulate what I want. I guess this is why twitter appeals so much...the actual level of thought is minimal, you can tweet in a half arsed fashion and then that is done...but hey ho....I'll blog more tomorrow...if I can be arsed...maybe I should order it cosmically....now this really is something that I feel I can be getting into...I know Noel Edmonds has beaten me to it, but I don't care, gonna see if it works...it fits in nicely with my belief system...so thats good....fuck it, its late, talk in a bit

drunk...new ideas
So here I am writing this, thoroughly aware that I'm not as pissed as I should be....now I hate that...all that effort....interestingly, though, may have hit on a great concept for a film/play....the only thing is that the pay off is the drunk argumentative actor who is wandering around my house as we speak....supposedly looking for his jacket, though it feels like he is actually looking for a fight.....i imagine the outcome will be fine...just hope that he has forgotten where the machete is.....

Not putting the effort in....
Feel that I haven't been putting enough into this. I guess the main problem is generally what to add, what might be interesting......I think the constant paranoia that stops me putting in anything too personal ends up with, well, something like this, an impersonal mish-mash of rubbish, sort of scrapbook crap that, with just a little bit of effort, you could have found yourself.....I mean, when it comes down to it, there is probably, in fact almost definitely a blog post identical to this, by some other paranoid 'blogger' who finally, but not quite, lets their guard down...........anyhow, never mind, I'll find a picture of a monkey riding a dog and post that....

wordpress
ok, been building some more sites using wordpress....absolutely love it, makes life so much easier and it means that i can pass over the finished product to the consumer and never, really, have to deal with them again....which is nice....all i have to think of now is a way of getting some more business in, whether it be design, writing or whatever....what the business needs is direction, i guess, although the beauty of most creative businesses i have been involved in is the lack of direction and what is found within that........with constant reduction the essence is found

blackberry and jabs
so my blackberry has now decided to not connect to my wifi. no matter what i do, battery pull, reset every fucking electrical appliance in the house whilst standing on my head, it make no difference, so it's probably the os, but enough of that....everytime i sit down to write something on this blog i always end up either talking shit or just posting other random crap....i read well written blogs all the time, i read articles on how to write blogs and i still come back to this whole world of writing about nothing, just dumping ramblings and filling up the web with more crap...oh well....and there are so many interesting things happening in my life, yet i choose not to tell you..or tell no one...so..

said a small proportion of internet users were classed as internet

Sex and carpal tunnel syndrome.

syndrome can be caused by sexual intercourse. From the abstract:
It is proposed that carpal tunnel syndrome can develop
during sexual intercourse when the hands become repeatedly extended
while under pressure from the weight of the upper body. Of the eight
risk factors associated with non-occupational carpal tunnel syndrome,
age, marital status, pregnancy and use of hormonal agents can be
explained by changes in the frequency of sexual intercourse. On the
other hand, obesity, macromastia and large chest circumference can be
explained by the increased pressure imposed on the wrists by the
heavier upper body associated with such conditions. The bilaterality of
carpal tunnel syndrome can be explained by the fact that both hands are
needed to support the upper body during sexual intercourse. A parallel
decrease in the frequency of sexual intercourse and the incidence of
carpal tunnel syndrome between the sixth and the seventh decades of
life suggests a possible cause and effect relationship between sexual
intercourse and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Then there's this......MSI's 10-inch tablet launching this year at $500
Ready for some more tablet news? Yeah, we know, this one's different. Promise. It's MSI's 10-inch, Tegra-powered machine we checked out a few weeks back at CES. We were reasonably smitten then and, despite the new competition,
we still think it looks promising. But, a $500 MSRP probably isn't
going to help things much when it launches sometime in the second half
of this year, if a report from DigiTimes proves to be
correct. Specifications are said to be "flexible" and the company will
"launch different models based on market demand," meaning if everyone
coughs at that price point there's a good chance MSI will dig deep and
release an even cheaper model. Sounds like a good idea to us.

How to Invite ALL Facebook Friends to a Group, Event or Page - pretty handy
I set up a couple of groups on Facebook and wanted to invite all my
friends, but it would have taken an eternity because for some strange
reason Facebook doesn’t allow you to “select all” friends when sending
an invite. I mean, they’ll let you do it… but only if you click one at
a time! Uugh.
Well anyway I went on a little search and found that you could cheat
the system by inserting a little javascript to make it happen! Here is
how to do it:

Well anyway I went on a little search and found that you could cheat
the system by inserting a little javascript to make it happen! Here is
how to do it:
- Go to your Event, Group or page and click “Invite People”.
- Once the page has loaded you should see all of your friends, but they are not selected.
- At this point, copy and paste the javascript code below into your Web browser’s address bar, then hit “Enter”.
- If all goes well, it selects all of your friends!
javascript:elms=document.getElementById('friends').getElementsByTagName('li');for(var

Brain Finger-printing?
What if a jury could decide a man's guilt through mind reading? What if
reading a defendant's memory could betray their guilt? And what
constitutes 'intent' to commit murder?

Rod Liddle:The man Alex Higgins doesn't want
Not the snooker player, some teacher guy has got it into his head that Rod Liddle, journalist, apparently offered the job of editor for the Independent, doesn't deserve the job. Well thats fine, you say, everyone has the right to object and I for one would support him in his endeavours. His right to demonstrate his opposition (through the medium of Facebook and other social networking sites, no doubt, the middle-classes new soapbox). I even agree with his reasoning, to a point although I do think Mr Liddles comments have been more about stirring the shit than him actually believing some of the stuff he has said. I just feel that this kind of thing is more due a letter to the editor type stuff. Let him have the job. He may cock it up royally (the Today programme). This whole thing just seems a bit wrong. I mean, where does it stop?
Surprising, really, when there are, or were, so many other things that people can get organised about. Some guy suffers the death penalty in China. Where was everyone then? Twittering that Rage against the Machine should get to number one.
The Independent needs a kick up the arse. This is providing it. The best thing the new owner can do now is make him editor. The publicity has been priceless.

The Knife, in collaboration with Mt. Sims and Planningtorock
The Knife, in collaboration with Mt. Sims and Planningtorock, are to release the studio version of the opera 'Tomorrow, In A Year', on the 1st March 2010.
Commissioned by Danish performance group Hotel Pro Forma to write the music for their opera based on Charles Darwin and his book 'On the Origin of the Species', The Knife decided to make this a collaborative process, working with artists Mt. Sims and Planningtorock for the first time, to capture the huge width of the Darwin and evolution theme.
Here is the work 'colouring of pigeons' but get it quick because I'm not sure how long it will stay on this link for.
It's amazing!

Monster black hole devours dead star
Deep in the heart of a globular cluster orbiting an elliptical galaxy, it looks very much as if a massive black hole is in the process of tearing apart and devouring the remnant of an old star. And how do we know we’re witnessing this violent stellar demise? Black holes are messy eaters.

higher airport security and dodgy screening
Is screening fair at all? Here is Nigerias opinion and US response to Christmas Day foiled bomb plot, but as has always been said, nobody can tell who is going to plant a bomb, who is Muslim etc etc. 10% of British Muslims are white, but I would be very surprised if they become the target of new screening procedures.
